The 5th edition of BEIRUT ART FAIR will take place next September 18/21, 2014 at the Beirut International Exhibition Leisure Center (BIEL).
For four years, BEIRUT ART FAIR has become the leading showcase of ME.NA.SA. creativity on the regional & international art scene. With a program entirely dedicated to the art of the era, it has become a lever of the artistic life in Lebanon.
BEIRUT ART FAIR has awakened collectors’ appetites for all art forms: painting, sculpture, design, installation art, video and photography.
In 2013, for the 4th edition, 46 galleries from 14 countries received over 18 000 visitors. The high volume of sales during the four previous editions, is one measure of its success! Notable amongst the visitors were the collectors from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar but also foreign-based Lebanese collectors who returned from around the world to support the event.
Beirut is the ideal location to launch such an event not only for its environment, which favours economic development and business initiatives, but mainly because it is a place of openness.
Every year, BEIRUT ART FAIR declares Beirut as the cultural and intellectual capital of the Arab world and as the turntable of the contemporary art on the crossroad of the Orient and the Occident.
