Comentarios: In 1953, Cox completed the murals around the frieze inside the U.S. Capitol Dome, which were left unfinished at the death of Philippo Costagni in 1907. He also executed murals for Dumbarton Oaks in Wash., DC, and the George Washington Masonic National Monument in Alexandria. Positions: Art commissioner, New York City, 1952-58.
