Comentarios: In 1939, Volz painted a large mural on facade of Federal Building on Treasure Island. He worked as scenic artist and technical director at Actor's Lab, Hollywood, 1944-48. Part of a group of twenty artists who produced lithographs for the "Chronicle Contemporary Graphics" project of 1940. Still active in the 1980s.
