1948:He set up his own studio.
1945:He began taking photographs of his family and relatives.
Until he retired in 1977, Keïta created and meticulously preserved several thousand photographs, which represent an exceptional source of information about the life in Bamako throughout the 1950s and early 1960s.
He is discovered by Françoise HUGUIER.
