biografía de Thomas J. JACKSON (?-1842)

Lugar de defunción: NYC

Direcciones: NYC and New Orleans

Profesión: Portrait painter

Comentarios: Thomas Jackson, portrait painter, was listed in NYC directories 1832-35. In 1833, a J. Jackson (see separate entry, not to be confused with Joseph Jackson) exhibited at the American Academy; but because J. Jackson's address is the same as Thomas, it is likely that they are the same person. From 1840 to 1842 Thomas J. Jackson was at New Orleans, but he returned to NYC and was found dead in the Hudson River in November 1842.
