Comentarios: Came to California in 1852. Several of his topographical sketches were lithographed and published in San Francisco. His watercolors include miniature views of Mount Shasta, Lake Tahoe, Missions at San Miguel, and San Diego. Ogilby was a painting and drawing professor at Durant Univ. School until it became Univ. of Calif. in 1868.
