Comentarios: Alphonse Brett, or Brette, lithographer, was listed in Philadelphia directories in 1848, 1852-56, 1858-59. This is probably the same man as Alphonse Breck, lithographer, listed in the 1850 Census as a native of France, age 28. In 1853 Brett headed the firm of Alphonse Brett & Co., lithographers. By August 1860 he had moved to NYC.
