Comentarios: The partners were Samuel Capewell (see entry), letter engraver, and Christopher Kimmel (see entry), engraver, lithographer and printer. Stauffer writes that plates signed by the firm name were generally the work of employed engravers. Samuel Capewell's name disappears from the directories after 1862, although Stauffer indicates that the firm was still in existence in 1907.
