Comentarios: Elder brother of the sculptor Horatio Greenough. He left Harvard College in his senior year to study art in London. During the 1830s he worked in England, then returned to Boston where he was living from 1844-50. He spent some time with Horatio in Florence and died in Paris in November 1852.
