Comentarios: Possibly from Chester County (PA) where he was married in 1792. After several years in Wilmington (DE), he emigrated to Ohio, settling in Ross County in 1800. On the death of his wife in September of the same year, Harrison returned to the East, left his infant daughter with relatives in Baltimore, and set himself up as a merchant in Charleston (SC), where he remained until 1811. He then moved to Philadelphia and in 1818 to Washington (PA), where he worked as a painter of portraits, signs, and chairs. His known works include miniatures of his wife and daughter.
