Comentarios: He and his brother Francis Hill (born c. 1742, see entry) came to the United States before 1860 and both were listed as apprentice engravers in Boston as of June, 1860. By 1865 they were working together and were still active in Boston after 1870. His daughter, Clara, was a sculptor and an art teacher.
