Comentarios: Married engraver Andrew Rushton Maverick (see entry) in the mid 1830s and after his death (c.1835), became a professional engraver. She was married a second time in 1842, to Joseph Riley of Boston. That marriage was dissolved several years later when she discovered that he had another wife; she then resumed the name of Maverick. She remained active in NYC until her death.
