Comentarios: The son of Caleb and brother of Jacob C. Ward (see entries). From 1845-47 he and his brother were itinerant daguerreotypists in South America, working in Santiago and Valparaiso (Chile), La Paz (Bolivia), Lima (Peru), and Panama. They returned to New Jersey in 1847 or 1848 with a small fortune. Nothing is known of his subsequent career .
