Comentarios: Best known for her photographs of dancers such as Martha Graham, JosÈ Limón, and Merce Cunningham which focus on rhythm, motion, and form. During the 1920s and 1930s she created expressionistic paintings and woodcuts that demonstrate an affinity with German Expressionism. She became a professional photographer in 1935.
