Comentarios: Became a member of the Kiowa Five" at the Univ. of Oklahoma after Lois Smoky dropped out of the program. The group, which also included Spencer Asah, Jack Hokeah, Steven Mopope, and Monroe Tsatoke, had been invited to the University by Oscar B. Jacobson (see entry). The Kiowa artists gained international attention at the Prague International Expo. of 1928. With other Kiowa artists, he painted murals in public buildings during the 1930s.
