Comentarios: She lived most of her youth with an aunt in Paris, returning to the U.S. at age 17 to study medicine. Dr. Cockett practiced in Boston, London and Paris, as well as driving an ambulance during WWI. Returning to Cooperstown in 1919, she founded an arts and crafts community there, later also running an antique shop and a gallery.
