Comentarios: His family came to California via the Isthmus of Panama. At various times he was in partnership with L. Lussier in a portrait painting business and with Sydney Yard in a photography business. His commitment to the preservation of the Redwood Forests resulted in a monument being placed in his honor in the California State Redwood Park at Big Basin.
