Comentarios: Son of Samuel Maverick (see entry). He worked in NYC, at first as an engraver, but from about 1856 until his death as a lithographer. In 1866 he formed a partnership with Louis Stephan and in 1878 joined with J. G. Wissinger to establish the firm of Maverick & Wissinger, still in existence in NYC.
