Comentarios: Taos contemporary realist figure and landscape painter who blended conservative and modernist styles. Adams was the youngest and last member of the Taos Soc. of Artists, encouraged by Dasburg to move to New Mexico in 1924. By 1950 his work in Albuquerque was mainly of nudes, portraits and still life; in the summertime in Taos he chose flowers, the Indians and the rural Spanish Americans.
