Comentarios: An avid sportsman and naturalist, he was best known for his watercolors and drypoint etchings of waterfowl and New England scenes of hunting and skiing. During the 1940s, he was a pulp magazine illustrator, and when he settled in Vermont in the 1950s he attained prominence as a wildlife artist.
