Comentarios: He immigrated to NYC when he was about16 years old. There he worked for Tiffany and Co. as an artisan for a short time, moving to Pasadena, CA in 1913. He found his subject matter in Monterey, as well as remote places like Tahiti and the South Seas, Arizona, Mexico and Hawaii. O'Shea painted in a bright and vibrant manner, which seems to have been inspired by the Post-Impressionists.
