Comentarios: A student of Fitz Hugh Lane during the 1850s, she is known to have expertly copied a number of Lane"s seascape and landscape paintings as well as painted some in collaboration with him. She also painted many of her own original works. Of the approximately 200 works attributed to Lane, only 60 are documented by dates or signatures.
