  About Code Art Fair

Code is a new, ambitious art fair located in Copenhagen, Denmark, one of the world’s most vibrant and forward-looking capitals. As the only international art fair in Scandinavia, our mission is to discover and showcase some of the best contemporary art, not only from the Scandinavian region, but from around the world.

In 2017, Code 2, the fair’s second edition, will present leading as well as emerging galleries from Europe and the Americas.

The galleries are selected by a curatorial team in a mission to exhibit progressive and thought-provoking presentations, providing the viewers with enriching artistic experiences.

Code 2 will feature a curated conversations and talks program tailored to meet and discuss the cultural, intellectual, political, and economic forces currently shaping the contemporary art scene and market as well as our society as a whole.

Code 2 will also include a film program, performance program and a sector of site-specific works stretching outside the venue and into the city of Copenhagen.

Located in Bella Center, Scandinavia’s largest exhibition center, the venue’s dramatic glass and steel structure and soaring spaces bathed in natural light, is an ideal venue to experience and engage with contemporary art.

Code on Sunday

Code on Sunday is our entirely new initiative and represents a different fair day, where visitors and the public can experience a day of site-specific performances and special events held at different locations in the heart of Copenhagen.
