AFFORDABLE ART IN DUBAI BECOMES MORE ACCESSIBLE THAN EVER
With half of all global affordable art transactions concluded below the USD 1,200 mark, art is no longer the exclusive domain of the wealthy. As the affordable art sector continues to witness a strong upwards trend, World Art Dubai is filling a gap in the regional market for original, quality pieces at every price point.
The latest edition in April 2017 welcomed 9,847 visitors and presented affordable contemporary art from a selection of more than 4,000 contemporary artworks from 140 exhibitors across 5 continents representing over 300 artists.
World Art Dubai will return in its fourth edition on 18 – 21 April 2018 at Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together regional and global artists and galleries who will be showcasing one-of-a-kind, accessible and affordable artworks. Spanning across 6,000 sqm of inspiring exhibition space, this edition will include dedicated spaces for galleries, solo artists and group shows representing art and culture from all over the world. A diversity of art will be available through forms of painting, drawing, calligraphy, printmaking and sculpture, as well as new segments like photography and digital art ranging from USD 100 to USD 20,000.
