Present owner has purchased the picture from Sotheby’s in 1975, invoice available.  Sales Impressionists lot 91. Unfortunately the receipt does not mention the artist however  the lot number 91. The pic appears again in  Bonhams catalogue of 27th June 2007 under lot 29  (see attached catalogue front page).
