Ángeles Benimeli (1933-2021). Spanish painter graduated in Fine Arts (San Fernando, Madrid, 1959). Her many years of work dedicated to painting allowed her to create a Collection of original artworks that currently and given that she is not a contemporary artist, no Gallery intends to hold any retrospective exhibition and, therefore, the demand for market for her work is null due to ignorance and forgetfulness. Without completely becoming an “Outsider” artist whose artistic work can only be seen in the ARTPRICE Marketplace, the family tries to auction off her collection so that the secondary market is the one that decides the interest and market demand for this painter. The number of views obtained by her works in the last year is surprising, exceeding 40,000 globally without any lot awarded. I regret that the art market does not see the evolution of this painter through her Collection exhibited here and give it a minimum of artistic value.
