I wish I could transport myself somewhere far away in space and time, to a

 place where there was faith in a bright future. To a place where people
 lived in peace, filled with optimism and hope for a better tomorrow. To
 a place where each day was filled with joy and tranquility, and the
future looked bright and cloudless.
For texture before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then
sanded for smoothness. Dutch acrylic paints from Amsterdam and Italian
fine-grained cotton canvas by Unico were used in the work. Finish -
satin varnish. The edges are painted in the background color. Additional
 framing is not required. I called this series "Life in Avatar."
