La Danse is a etching and aquatint produced in 1935-36. Recent Editions have sold for over €100,000. Numbered in graphite pencil on the right side “5/50” & then signed by Henri Matisse on the Far Right side, with a a deckle edge below. The inscriptions are completely concurrent with signatures from different Editions & from Matisse’s Artworks around this period.

The Artwork has had six previous owners & comes with a full Provenance list. A full Condition report is available, though the colours are all still fresh & bold: overall it's in a much better Condition than I've seen with other Editions. There is no visible staining of foxing of the Artwork.

We have initially priced this at €70,000 (excluding shipment) but we willing to look at individual Buyers offers.
