MAIKEL resides in Spain. He graduated from the Oscar Fernandez Morera's School of Visual Arts of Sancti Spiritus, Cuba. Maikel has received numerous awards (two national first prizes) and its very popular exhibits have been the subject of much press coverage (El Pais, Art Nexus, Helsinki Sanomat ...). His collections are present throughout Europe and Cuba. He is a regular ART Madrid guest.
