Born in Taizhong County, Taiwan, in 1942, Jiang Mingxian graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Taiwan Normal University, studied in Spain and resided in New York for years. He once served as the professor, dean and director of the Department & Graduate Institute of Fine Arts of Taiwan Normal University. So far, he has held over 50 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 100 major joint exhibitions at home and abroad. Exhibited at the National Museum of China and China National Academy of Painting in 2011-2012 & 2005.
